I knew every diet. Points, shakes, cutting carbs, 1,200 calories, the app that yelled at me. I could lose twenty pounds any time I wanted — and I could find them again just as fast.
What nobody tells you is how heavy that cycle gets. Not the weight. The restarting. Making the plan, breaking the plan, promising yourself next week would be different.
